Congratulations to the 4 Odyssey of the Mind teams advancing to the State Competition!
Regional Competition Results:
The 4th grade team, competing in its first Odyssey of the Mind competition, came in fourth in its problem and division.
The 6th grade team, having entered into a new division this year, came in second its problem and division.
The 9th grade team swept all three elements of the competition in its problem and division and came in first in the region for the sixth year in a row. The 9th grade team also received an Omer's Award “for meeting and exceeding the goals of the Odyssey of the Mind creative problem-solving competition.”
The 11th grade team, competing for the ninth year in a row, swept all three elements of the competition in its problem and division and came in first in the region.

SCS is committed to global interactions and learning opportunities for our students. Our International School Partnership Program, which connects each grade with a school around the world through Mennonite Central Committee's Global Family program, is one example of how we build international relationships and develop global awareness for our students.
SCS is the first school to have each grade level partner with a school through MCC's Global Family program. This week representatives from MCC are here filming and interviewing faculty and students to showcase SCS's initiative.
