Application Process
We welcome students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, and do not discriminate on this basis in admission or in any area of the school life and program. The following criteria are considered in admission decisions:
- An application form must be completed including all required documents.
- Records including report cards and standardized tests must be supplied.
- Parents and applicants meet with the principal or guidance counselor.
- K - 1st grade age requirements: Kindergarten - five years of age on or before September lst (as required by the State of Florida). First grade - six years of age on or before September lst (as required by the State of Florida). Students reaching age six on or before December 3lst may be admitted providing the student is determined to be emotionally, socially and academically prepared for first grade. This determination is made after a conference with student and parents upon recommendation from the kindergarten teacher, and satisfactory scores on the developmental and ability tests.
