Odyssey of the Mind

Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from kindergarten through college. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and world level. Thousands of teams from throughout the U.S. and from around 25 other countries participate in the program.

Congratulations to the 4 Teams Advancing to the 2013 World Competition!

The international competition takes place May 22-25, 2013 at Michigan State University, and offers an invaluable experience for these children.

The cost of sending, housing and feeding just the children to this competition will exceed $31,000.  None of this amount covers coaches, parents or chaperones and we rely on community sponsors to help make this trip possible.  If you would like to become a sponsor you can download sponsor information here or contact Jeff Kral at (941) 321-3400 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
