Since 1958

Sarasota Christian School (SCS) was established in 1958 by a group of Mennonite parents who were interested in having their children educated in a truly Christian atmosphere. With only 15 students enrolled on the first day over 6 decades ago, SCS has grown into a community of over 700 students and over 1,000 alumni.

SCS has a rich history of serving all those who desire a distinctively Christian education regardless of denomination, race, color or national origin.

We at SCS honor our past and have a vision for our future.
